American Ranch Domestic Water Improvement District Yavapai County, Arizona *** * * * * * * * * The American Ranch * * * * * * * *     The American Ranch Domestic Water Improvement District was formed as a Special Taxing District in 2000 under the Arizona Revised Statutes Title 48, to provide water service.  In 2009 the ARDWID was combined with the American Ranch Sanitary District to provide both water and sewer service to the residential lots and the community buildings in the American Ranch subdivision located off Williamson Valley Road north of Prescott, Arizona in Yavapai County. The original construction of the facilities was completed by the subdivision developer, the M-3 Companies, and conveyed to the District.  The water system has specific meter and backflow prevention device requirements and the low pressure sewer system has specific requirements for the on-site grinder systems. These requirements are listed in the American Ranch Water Ordinance and Sewer Ordinance. The District contracts with Western Environmental Technologies, Inc. for utility operations and with Improvement District Services, Inc. for administrative services.  The District office is located at American Ranch Domestic Water Improvement District c/o Improvement District Services, Inc. 117 E.
